Senior Pastors

Dr. Emmanuel & Esther Ajulo

The Sovereignty of the Lord mandate was received from the Lord Jesus Christ in June 2013 to launch out for Him in Akure, Nigeria. When the mandate was received, the servant of the Lord resided in Lokoja, Nigeria, with his family, and immediate relocation was not possible. Still, in obedience to the Lord, he continued serving, doing mission work, holding conferences, teaching, and leading in a Bible School. In God’s faithfulness, academic activities led the servant of God to the Federal University of Technology, Akure, for his Master’s and PhD programmes in Computer Science, which for him was a predestined plan of God to make him see the land and take action on the call.

In the wake of 2023, it became a substantial burden and impression in the Spirit that it was time for the vision to speak. A 40-day prayer and fasting started in March 2023 to seek the face of God for a more precise direction of what He would have us do in the land, and this was followed by another 70 days of prayer, fasting, and vigil in May 2023. All of these paid off when the door to the city of Akure opened midway into the programme in the same year, 2023. God also delivered the model, structure, and system for our operations.

To our amazement and true to God’s word, all He told us about the assignment is what it is. In 2023 and 2024, several academic and Christian meetings were held on campuses to signal the start of this mandate. We had our first meeting in the ministry auditorium on 2nd November 2024 with 38 attendees (14 Adults, 3 children, and 21 online participants). Sovereignty of the Lord Embassy (SOLEM) had its first Sunday service on 12th January 2025.
